After joining the United States Air Force in 1971, he continued to sing, and entered numerous talent show at each of his military installations, Reynald managed to become a member of a quartet, a choir and a member of a Premiere Gospel group in that region. Because of that, he was afforded the opportunity to open a show in Mainz, Germany for Chicago native, Chaka-Kahn.
Elder Williams’ love for singing opened another door for him to perform at the Frankfurt, Germany Opera House in 1990. He has also performed in Switzerland and the Netherlands. Upon his retirement from the United States Air force in 1991, Elder Williams retreated from singing to pursue his academics. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree under the Board of Governors Program at Chicago State University in December of 1993. After a six year hiatus, Elder Williams joined the United States Postal Service. After hearing him sing during a building rededication, the Chicago District Post Master personally requested that Elder Williams would become a member of their choir.
In 2012, Elder Williams completed his first solo CD titled: “WHY”. It has been featured in numerous churches in the Chicagoland area. In January of 2015, Pastor Williams started a gospel radio broadcast titled: “Garden of your Mind Radio Broadcast” on WYCA, 102.3 FM. The broadcast was designed to remove the weeds of the world from the garden of our mind. With the removal of the weeds, individuals now become more effective in winning and restoring the souls of the regressed.
